    "South Park" skewers J-LOW!!!

If you HATE Miss J-LOW as much as I do (she's replaced Tiny Tom Cruiser on my most despised list!!!)...don't miss the "South Park" that's airing this week on Comedy Central!!!!

Cartman devises a hand-puppet J-Low (shades of Senor Wences on Ed Sullivan) that all the record execs go crazy over and causes them to fire the REAL J-Low. That bitch comes to South Park accompanied by Ben Asslick, who becomes smitten by Cartman's "hand". Hilarity ensues!!!!!

J-Low records "Taco Flavored Kisses" and causes record execs to swoon. The same record execs call in the real J-Low and fire her. She says "Oh, no you DIH-INT!!!" :P

The best line comes from a record exec after she hurls insults. His retort: "And you're a mean-spirited bitch who spits on people who aren't rich and famous" (I couldn't have said it any better)

In that same vein, Jimmy Kimmel held up the premiere issue of a new mag last night called Radar Magazine. The cover screams " The 100 Worst Monsters in Hollywood". #1 "Monster" and covergirl on the premiere issue: J-LOW!!!
Shades of Miss Ross.... she has an edict that her assistants can't look at or speak to her unless spoken to. Also, they have to cut the size 6 labels out of her designer duds and replace them with size 2's!!!!!

Lastly, comedian Richard Jenni was on Howard Stern last week and told another J-Low tale. He was a writer on "In Living Single" when he was a lowly "Flygirl" and they often ate lunch together in the commissary. He says he recently came face to face with Miss Low at the chi-chi Ivy restaurant here in LA. He had the audacity to say "Hello". She gave him a "how dare you look" and said "Do I know you?" He introduced himself and said "we worked on "In Living Color" together. She snaps "I don't remember ANYONE from THAT show" and disappeared into the limo. Huh? The Wayans Brothers???? Jim Carrey????

Hmmmm... Jenny From The Block, eh????? I'm wishing her Paula Abdul's recording career and Maria Conchita Alonso's movie career. May she find herself on the next "I'm A Celebrity ...Get Me Outta Here!!!!" From my mouth to gawd's ear. Keep your fingers crossed.

The Bitch MUST BE STOPPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P  :P  :P   :P

Oh Marky. I've missed you. That's the kinda a slam I need to read
My sister calls her J-Hoe. I just can't believe she is that egotistical.
OK maybe that big ass has my my dick doing the thinking for me (Don't worry Salma, she still has nothing on you). I figured she had humble beginnings and would therefore not be the **** your post implies.

Just proves what I suspected all along -- that "Jenny From The Block" thing is just the usual marketing/image BS.

I find that people who have gone from humble beginnings to riches tend to go one of two ways: 1) they remain true to themselves, stick with their close friends, and pay little heed to the glitter or 2) they become pretentious, arrogant buffoons.

But no matter how high they rise, they can still fall... witness Miss Ross!

May she follow in the steps of Latoya Jackson! Did anybody see that bizarre interview on NBC earlier this week? What record company would waste their money on a new album for her??!

I was watching VH1 the other day and got a peek of J-LOWHO's new video. It's a carbon copy of the movie "FlashDance" and guess who's supposed to be Jennifer Beals? She claims that JB's role was a vivid description of her way to the top. Whatever  .. David La Chapelle (video director) feels that everyone has a negative perception of J-LOWHO and says that she been wrongfully slandered by the media. He also says that she's reeeeeeeaaaaaaalllllyyyy a nice girl who's down to earth ....Whatever  !

Did you also know that Hollywood is supposed to film a remake of West Side Story and guess who's gonna play (Rita Moreno's) ANITA?????????

Has anyone one seen "A Man Apart" with Vin Diesel :P :D and Larenz Tate.....it was gooooood! Packed with intensity, danger, lots of gunfire, good story plot and emotional scences.****

    Heyyy Delight :P

Why do I get the feeling that that seat at the theater was left just a little moist when you left
Aside from packing intensity, I imagine you were looking to see who was really "packing", Lorenz or Vin :D

    Hey Paul

Has anyone ever told you that you have nasty thoughts : 8) lol: ! A moist seat ugh gross :o Paul you are a nasty young man  I have to admit that I did get a rush.........from the movie okay. Larenz Tate is a good actor but ALL eyes were on Vin :D .

As far as packages goes, its impossible to measure a guy just by viewing his crotch. Some guys are "stuffers" so what you see isn't always what you get :x . Unfortunately God didn't give women the gift of x-ray vision .

I also saw that episode of "South Park" (via videotape), and I think that it's hilarious. Cartman sure fooled everyone, especially Ben Affleck, who fell in love with the impostor J-Lo. And you know what sex with the impostor means (yeah, Cartman really wanted to touch Ben Affleck's dick - NOT!!!). Also, the terribly un-PC song "Taco Flavored Kisses" was funny, with its repeated "taco taco taco burrito" (or something like that) line. The ending was cool, with the real J-Lo (the cartoon version anyways) working at a fast food place. By the way, I think that Cartman's "creation" looks like a bird.

As for the real J-Lo, I don't care for her music, and I don't think her acting is much better (though I think she should at least stick to acting). From what I've read here, she doesn't sound like a nice person, but I won't get into that.

I finally got to see this episode of South Park. Frikkin' hilarious!!

There are a few sites that have this (and many other episodes) in Real format to download, although not surprisingly, they don't usually last long due to bandwidth and copyright issues. But you can also find these on P2P networks... it's episode 705, lovingly titled "Fat Butt And Pancake Head".

The joke is that the two guys behind South Park are themselves two of the biggest assholes I have ever had the misfortune of seeing on TV. They are truly obnoxious, unless they play absolutely everything just for laughs
(which I personally can't believe) and even then their behaviour and attitude to almost everything is sick.
Doesn't everyone realise that the joke is firmly and squarely on us? We're all part of a society that 'worships' celebrity.
I used to love TV, but lately in the UK it has dumbed down to such an extent, that I hardly think it's worth having one now.

I take it you've never seen Fox news then.

How so? The show actually has some serious social commentary in it, wrapped up in fart jokes. It's the mixture high and low-brow humour that makes the show so unique.

Monty Python did it too -- they just couldn't get away with being so vulgar at the time.

We're all part of a society that 'worships' celebrity.
Well, one of SP's main points is about how stupid/wrong this is. The episodes with Kathy Lee Gifford or Richard Stamos (John Stamos' brother :) ) are good examples.

What's "threadcrapping"???? Duh. I be stooooopid.

I'd say that Matt & Trey can act like assholes themselves on TV...however, they also wickedly skewer pretentious assholes that the American press likes to asskiss on a daily basis. They've got that mean fratboy mentality, dude.

Likewise, the new Radar Magazine says that Michael Moore is a big ******* who privately sneers about how rich he is, yet plays the champion of the common downtrodden man in public. He's on their must-read list of 65 "Monsters".

J-Lo is first, Courtney Love, Suge Knight, Scott Rudin, Mark Whalberg, Rosie O'Donnell also place.

Barbra and Miss Ross are on the Monster Hall Of Fame list.

Threadcrapping is... well, crapping on a thread. It's the practice of responding to a message created to show appreciation for something, for the sole purpose of expressing contempt or distaste for it.

Hmmm... I should really try to word that a little better...

    Example:
    Subject: Madonna Rules!
    Posted by:John Smith
Have you guys heard the new Madonna album yet? It's the best album ever. It's even better than the new J-Lo!! I love every song on it. What do you think of it? What other songs of hers do you like?

Haven't heard the whole thing yet, but I'm not too fond of the first single. But then, I'll always prefer the stuff from her "Material Girl" period.

I like it. She's the greatest! I've been a devoted fan since "Holiday". I don't care what snobby critics think.

I'm amazed anyone still gives this boring old tramp the time of day. Nobody ever took her seriously in the scene I was in, and the very mention of her name would cause us to break into a fit of laughter. Her voice is weak, her lyrics are feeble, and the shock tactics have become tiresome. She can't sing, she can't act, and now she's just plain ugly. She was terrible to begin with, and she's only become worse with age. The fact that her records still sell by the millions is all the proof you need that there's no shortage of idiots.

Now, guess which response would be the threadcrap :)

A threadcrap usually dismisses the tastes and/or opinions of the original poster, and adds nothing to the discussion. It's more than just a difference of opinion, it's a need for the crapper to put down others whenever possible, presumably out of the need for some sort of ego boost. In the example above, the thread subject makes it clear what the message is all about. Most people who have no interest in Madonna (such as myself) wouldn't bother to read the message at all. But a threadcrapper not only reads the message, but lets the whole world know what he thinks of it, in a rather untactful way. It's just totally needless.

On another note -- yes, it's quite possible that Matt and Trey are complete assholes. It's entirely possible that I'd hate their guts if I met them. But so what? They make a show that I find quite entertaining, as well as thought-provoking. That's why I watch it, not because of anything they do outside of that. I don't listen to an album because the artist is a nice guy. Anyone who has worked in the entertainment industry can tell you that a lot of talented people are thoroughly unpleasant to deal with. That doesn't change the fact that they're talented (unless they go by the name J-Lo! ). It also doesn't change the fact that you probably don't want to know them personally. :)

    Ah, Graham....

    "Get the picture?"

    "Yes, we see!!!!"

Well, actually, I sorta figured it out...but I just wanted to see how you'd 'splain it.

Quinny is our beloved "contrarian" , isn't he? Well, that's OOOOOOOOOLD news. I can't get worked up bout these things anymore.

I guess some of you guys (Graham) live in a black and white world, whereas mine is black and white with a huge grey area in between. Au contraire mon ami, I don't post anything with deliberate malice, it's just your sensitivity that makes you feel whatever you feel and read into my posts whatever you read into them. You've accused me of many things, all of which have been way off beam. So don't crap on me 'cos I really don't deserve it. I've got no ego to boost, cheap shots to get over or axes to grind. I'm just here to discuss. So my opinion's different, so what?

BTW: How did my contention that the creators of South Park are two of the biggest assholes I've ever seen, ruin the thread? I was merely pointing out some of the irony of the situation.

Threadcrappin', I love the concept Graham. I also like it from time to time when some of you do it on some of my own threads
Am I sick or what. I feel like satan, enjoying the occasional disagreement on the boards. It keeps things interesting especially since our other two main female contributors disappear in a black hole from time to time I like to read their sometimes differing views.
Thank god or the devil for Delight :D
By the way Quinny, TV blows the big one in the states too. I hope this is not a sign of me being an old fart but the buffoonery of some of the black comedy programs and the simple minded predictability of the rest of "mainstream TV" has me frequently popping in dvds during prime time.

    Ah Paul,

I loves THE OCCASIONAL "catfight" too. That's why I wished EARLIER to see the likes of PhantomASS back here mixing it up. But, alas, that era seems to be over.

And, I'm sure Bernie is glad it's over. :P

But, I liked to get into it on occasion.

But, that was yesterday and yesterday's ...GONE!!!

    Or is it????

Graham: I don't want to get too heavy here, but this is an untenable situation so far as I'm concerned. These people are in an incredibly powerful position to minutely warp our minds and have us begin to accept the unacceptable. I take it you would have supported Hitler in Nazi Germany? It's unquestionable that he took that country from economic disaster to incredible industrial muscle in a very short time and was hailed by the masses as their saviour. Goodness me, he was actually liked by the vast majority of the population. Was HE right all along?
Morally, I don't think we can totally divorce a person's talent from their personna and like one despite the other. It ought to make us feel a little uneasy about ourselves if we readily accept the doctrine of such thoroughly unpleasant people.

From Matt & Trey to uh..... HITLER?????????

Uh, isn't that quite a stretch?

Matt & Trey are pokin' fun at pompous & prententious celebs; Hitler committed the most unspeakable acts in the history of mankind.

    That's my take.
