Feeling Good/Nina Simone ???
But its new single was remixed by Joe Claussell.
Hi all,
I need to get identified an almost instrumental kind of Jazz-Funk song. I have no lyrics but the Radio-DJ annouced the song as Fools Gold by Simone (could also be Cymone or something that sounds like this)
I've looked everywhere (Ebay, Gemm etc.) to find the combination between the title and the artist, but nothing came up.
Hopefully this helps:
It's a heavily bass-song and in the break there appear kind of bells
Hopefully someone can help me out here.
Thanx
Peter

Hi Maqship,
Unfortunately it isn' t Nina Simone / Feeling Good
Thanks anyway for your reaction!
Peter
It could be Andre Cymone. He was in Prince's band on his "disco" days. Guitar or bass player, and he went solo sometime.
It don't mean a thing (if ain't got that swing)
I wonder if it could be Cymande. They were quite jazzy and pretty funky too for 1973 on.
I don' t know if it's Cymande, but I also thought Cymande didn' t have a song called: Fools Gold
The bass line goes like (when you sing it):
tu....tu, tuduuu tude tu du du,
tu....tu, tuduuu tude tu du du
Hopefully this helps,

Bootleg Remix 9:08: DANNY KRIVIT: EDITS BY MR. K - THE ORIGINAL RARE DISCO EDITS
A few of us had been discussing Mr. Krivit's CD. It's awesome and his remix on Bra is outstanding. Really works that all too short break in the original.
THANKS for the CD suggestions NICKNACK.
The Bootleg version seems to be really good. I seached the web and I found out that this fabulous CD is also available on 3xLP !!
