How this monster track eluded me all these years will be a mystery to me forever !!!
Ok ,, Its on a mix called the discojoint , I don't now who did the mix .
It kicks in it 21.10 .
I figure the song could be called Rockin it ?
It features female vocalists , & nice punchy horns , over the top of a funky disco beat ,
A few lyrics & the chorus .

Unfortunately I can't identify the track you're looking.

But a little searching and here is a link to the mix: Al Kent – The Disco Joint – exclusive mix at the love unlimited sound system

The mix is by Al Kent and I'm guessing the tracks are rather obscure and probably rare too...

The only tracks I could identify were at:

08.00 mins - The New Yorkers "My Baby Knows (I Like It)"

If anyone knows any of the others then please list them.

OK people >> The killer cut that DJ Duke points out begins at 30.54 mark & ..whoooaw ! awesome bass line with keys & synths to match , its one scorching hot groover looping over & around itself & yehh you just gotta love that moan , it relentless & runs till 39.22 where its followed by another couple of must have tracks .These have lyrics so could be easier to id .

We really ought to do what Ashley suggested & complete the track list .

The track everyones looking for is by Bad News Band.. from 81... bout a $100 tune

I think its going to be on Al Kent's "Disco Love" compilation which BBE Records are bringing out in December (mixed and unmixed version) as a follow up to Dimitri and Joey Negros Kings of Disco comp a few years back

The moaning and groaning tune is one of Al's edits (under the moniker) Brown Brothers... called "A sided disco"... which should give the real nerds amongst you a clue to the 7" it comes from (which is another of Al's favourite edits) :-)
