I just had to mention this one: I picked up a sealed copy of Caroline Bernier's "Out Of The Shadows" LP today. Produced by Tony Green, who also brought us France Joli. Stunning production... Moroder-esque sequencer lines, good grooves, nice melodies, but... oh my gawd, this woman CANNOT SING! She sucks harder than an army of amphetimized leeches!!

Flower and Andrea True sound like first-rate divas compared to her!

Dear Masfedi! I do not know this album from

her, but I have the one with "Hold Me, Touch

Me" and "Secret Agent Love" on it...I find

that she herself is not so important...just

listen to the fantastic "Secret Agent Love"

(16:40) and what TONY GREEN has made. Do

you think that Grace Jones can sing? or only

intonate? Here in Europe there were so many

people, who tried to do disco ... and they

really were not able to sing.

If you like TONY GREEN listen also to U.N.,

FRANCE JOLI or especially FREDDIE JAMES.

I find, that also MADONNA cannot really sing!

Graham, do you find "Love (I don't want to hear about it)" on that album of Caroline ?
If you buy this record your life, will be better.

I have "Secret Agent Love" featured in the "Disco Vault" under "B" along with an audio sample: http://www.discomusic.com/vault/index.html

"Secret..." is not that bad of a song because of Green's production, but have to concur with Graham that her voice is lacking.

If anyone likes Tony Green then check out "Sunshine Love" by Metal Weeds, his work with Kebekelektrik and Goldie Alexander.
