    Hi!I'm Jazz Pilgrim TWO

    Hi everybody,

I'm Jazz Pilgrim TWO. I could not think of an original, so I just copied one. I hope you don't mind Jazz!

Again, like Jazz, my favourite song is Roy Ayers and Running Away. Again, hope you don't mind Jazz!

I'm looking forward to conversations and discussions on certain musical debates.

    And for now,

    Hi Jazz Pilgrim 2

    This is Jazz Pilgrim!!

They say copying is the best form of flattery. And I take that as a real compliment! Cheers!

Though I must admit it is a bit of a surprise!!

Anybody up for QUINNY 2??

You will pleased to hear that I am already a confirmed listener to SOLAR RADIO. I have now got Sky so I can access it there. I have made a few posts on the SOLAR forum over the months.

I remember back in the Eighties writing the only letter I have ever written to an MP when I wrote off to the Home Secretary on the state of London's radio stations. I comoplained about the limited choice available and campaigned for the fact that we wanted a dedicated black music station catering for our needs. Well - we're getting there slowly!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Tony Munson (the man behind SOLAR Radio - am I right??) at an event in Hackney one night in the mid Eighties. I had a good long chat with him that night. A man who is very knowledgeable about the black music scene. I reminded him that I had first heard of him on Radio Medway in around 1977 when he guested on the Tony "Shades" Vallence show. I will always remember his reaction. "Good God!" he said,"I completely forgot about that show!"

    Welcome along!

Jazz: I don't know if I should be flattered that you thought of me or 'angry from Southampton' that you should even suggest such a thing. :o
As it is, I've already had 'Quinnykins', 'Quinnique' and the like, so I don't think there will be a 'Quinny 2'. They broke the mould when they made me.

    JAZZ PILGRIM 2 - Revealed!!!

Well, folks, I can now EXCLUSIVELY reveal that JAZZ PILGRIM 2 really IS Jazz Pilgrim 2

... he is none other than ......

Master Sebastian Jeffery - my 13 year old son - who wanted to play a trick on his Dad!!!

    True!!

Shame - coz I thought there was another RUNNING AWAY fan on the Board!! :(

How did I guess! The message didn't seem right .... how did he know of my love for Roy Ayers ....but the real giveaway was when he sent me a private e-mail as Jazz- Pilgrim-2@hotmail.com. When I logged on to my home computer and went into my hotmail account - it came up with jazz-pilgrim-2 !!!

I guess I have to laugh, folks!! The joke's on me!! Incredible though - what imagination for a 13 year old!! Pity he can't apply that to his English homework!!

As Larry Williams and Johny Guitar Watson sang on OKEH in 1967: Two For The Price Of One

I bet you're all relieved now!! Can you imagine it - TWO Jazz Pilgrims?? :-?

Finally though ... I do like the sound of ...

JAZZ PILGRIM [the one and original]

    GOD OF THE MESSAGE BOARD!!!

    Cheers for that, Seb!!!
