Uff! As you recognise, there are lots of 7"es inside...and
some are really trashy-tracks, but anyway disco was a
whole universe of any kind of music!!!
You can find my show-program on www.orange.or.at;
press the big button with "live" and then "audiostream".
It begins at midnight european time under the subject
"Now It´s Dark".
Cosmic Love & Kisses From SIRIUS & DARKTUNES...
Hopefully your 7" of PUSH PUSH MAN has the picture sleeve, with the sluts and the short person/midget holding the submachine gun! - Nice to see you opening your set with the JC Superstar fanfare. I've been using that for ages, as well as other different versions of the tune, it's such an earopener and perfect alternative for that more commonly used 2001 Also Sprach Zarathustra thing.
DearJussiK!
Yes, this is the one Mafia-7" from 1977 produced by
Howard Carpendale(!). Although it sounds a little bit
trashy, the single is very functionable. Hope you know
other trax from my list.
I loved "The Overture" from "Jesus Christ Superstar" too
and mixed it in my radio-program with samples from
BUGGLES"Plastic Age" and CHRISTIAN DEATH"Where´s
The Sugar". Mad enough???
Cosmic Love & Kisses From SIRIUS & DARKTUNES
P.S.: Do you know, if MAFIA made an album too???
"Where's the Sugar"? Don't know that but judging by that title that seque does sound impressive. - I never saw a Mafia album, nor any other 7" realeses. Would have loved to know who the disco midget was.
