    Cleaning Technics SL1200 MKII

    Hi,

Please could anyone advise as to a suitable cleaner for the turntable chassis of a Technics SL1200? The top silver section is now looking like it needs a good clean to freshen it up a bit.

Are there specific products manufactured to do this? Do Technics produce a special cleaning solution?

Any help or advice would be very greatly received.

    Many thanks,

    Simon.

If you must clean the unit, use a slightly damp cloth with a little dishwashing liquid. Don't use harsh cleaners or rub too hard as the silver paint can wear away. Good luck.
