Thanks for posting that one. Here's another one I found scanning through YT.
It looks like they filmed it on the same set/club as the movie setting.

Amazing how hard it is to find a performance clip by this Costandinos project but...

Boy those were rare;I don't remember seeing that clip "back in the day." Just think all of those dancers and singers are now in their 50's and 60's. We looked so innocent back then.
Garry
speaking of rare/Costandinos, someone has posted tracks on YouTube from Tina Turner's Costandinos-produced album. Sure would like to know who thought those two would be a good combination.....
Though no one has yet to mentioned it...
I'm assuming everyone knows there was never a performance by the actual "love & kisses".
The group in Videoskooter's clip are (l to r):
John Colar (J.R.), Elaine Hill, Carole Ann Churn, Richard Herkert
I met them at a performance in NY, back in '79.
J.R. and Elaine were great fun to meet! Carol, Richard and their road-manager were absolute jackasses.
I have no idea who the foursome lip-syncing (and poorly, I might add) in DiscoFunk's TGIF clip are.
But he's right about their filming on the TGIF location.
Look closely and you'll see it was done after shooting wrapped for the film.
All the "ZOO" set decorations have been taken down and it's back to it's original decor, as "OSKO's".

Stephen, I think there is one (or more) because I clearly remember seeing it. It was a clip for "I've found love" where Costandinos himself is singing on a platform on the Eiffel Tower in Paris, accompanied by others (don't remember if they were just dancers or actual (studio) groupmembers).
Until now, and I'm searching for it, I have not traced that vid. Maybe this is a challenge for Rick from Discoimperium who always seems to find everything.
BTW, can somebody tell more about the tracks from Costandinos under the alias Robert Rupen?
It's the name he used when writing the tracks on the original KONGAS LP, back in 1974. The credits were changed to "A. Costandinos" after Salsoul's 1978 re-release of the LP (remixed by Tom Moulton), to cash-in on the 'Costandinos' name. Barclay/France also re-released the Salsoul version of the LP, on green vinyl.
And it's the name he used for credits on the track "Figaro Baby", on the Leslie O'Hara LP.
For the most part, Alec used 'R. Rupens' with his writing partner 'Styllianos Vlavianos', when writing for Demis Roussos. (although, he used all his pseudonyms while writing for Roussos)
And Rupens/Vlavianos wrote the title track for Shirley Bassey's 1979 LP, "The Magic Is You". Which was also featured as the b-side of the original 12" mix of the Disco version of "My Life (La Vita)", prior to Bobby Guttadaro's remix. And the LP's release.
