I would have taken Ventura over Obama in a heartbeat.

Just thinking while watching these: such way of political debating on television would be unthinkable over here.

In Belgium or Germany it's all hard talk and there's no way that the host of the show would express his personal political opinion or adress a politician in that way.

    Is it better? I dunno.

This is the way it used to be until Fox News started their "us" versus "them" attitude and pit viewers against one another. Now you have every newscaster idiot like Lou Dobs, Hannetty... spouting their all-knowing attitude. Even the guy from "Countdown," Keith Oberman-who I like, gets to be a little annoying after a while.

While I loved Ventura giving it to all those knuckleheads, I would never want him for President as he strikes me as just a loudmouth wiseguy.

It has grown worse. All it is is "news attacking news!"

One channel attacking another channel, or newspaper, and vice-versa.

We used to have something for television called The Fairness Doctrine, where if you presented one side, you had to present the other side.

During the Reagan administration, he had his Justice Department take it to court and thrown out under "freedom of speech."

While I agree, in part, with its demise, it allowed Fox News Channel to form and become a one sided arguement. Now these so called anchors are always bashing other news outlets and throwing religion into their opinions. And thus, the other networks, after being knocked by Fox, defend themselves by diving into the mud themselves.

It has become boring to myself, the consumer. But it has turned up the anger volume.

I hope it is a fad that will wear thin eventually. I do watch Hannity and O'Reilly and Countdown and CNN. But they are so predictable in their attacks and opinions that I have no problem turning to SpongeBob Squarepants.

I like Chris Matthews best, but he can be annoying sometimes(recent Ari Fleischer interview).

Even as a liberal, I do like Pat Buchanan, though he is wrong about gays and a few other issues. But he argues well.

Bernie I like that Jesse is a loudmouth . He doesn't let these histrionic Hannity girly talk show types mow over him in their attempt to drown out his points!

But more importantly I find I agree with everything he says . Everything he says in these clips is spot on.

I appreciate the anger he's expressing , .....justifiably so . We should all feel that way .......... .
Mad as hell at the way the Cheney crowd bankrupted this country literally and morally while pursuing their greedy oil agenda.

That whole Bush/Cheney crowd should not have been allowed to just waltz off after ruining this country.
In American colonial times they'd have been tarred and feathered .

......... My one criticism of Jesse would be .....where in the hell were you for the last eight miserable years when we really could have benefited from people like you standing up and telling it like it is !!

Hey remicks. I kinda get the impression that Jesse aslo thinks that a lot of politics is bullshit.
I just watch that movie, "The Obama Deception" and he said as much.
