She went under both names. It seems as if they changed it later to Fabrique so that people wouldn't prnounce it like "fabric." My 12" of "Non-Stop" has her as Fabrik while the other 12" with "Alive With Love" has her as Fabrique. Take your pick.
Is the correct name Tina Fabrik or Tina Fabrique?
With Unidisc-CDs both ways of writing exist, I have unfortunately no original 12"-Single
around it to check.

I second Bernie's comment: My 12-inch of "Alive With Love" spells it "Fabrique." FYI: Tina is performing in the chorus for various musicals these days; I read her name in the program for one I saw last summer. (But I can't remember which one; sorry!)

By coincidence, our N.Y. office represents Tina Fabrique. I think she was touring with Ann-Margret in "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" last summer (is that the one, Jeff?) She also did "Bring On The Noise, Bring In The Funk". I've never met her.
I do know Roz Ryan, who Maarten mentioned in a post on another thread. We rep Roz who was in "Dreamgirls" (replacing Jennifer Holliday) and on TV in "Amen" and briefly last fall in the Daniel Stern Show "Danny", the first casualty of the fall season.
But I've never heard Roz's record that Maarten was referring to!

Marky: Yeah, it could have been "Best Little Whorehouse"--which would explain why I couldn't remember it. What a dreadful show! Gary Sandy was in way-over-the-top good ol' boy mode, but poor Miss Ann-Margret was sleepwalking through her role. (At one point I whispered, "She looks like an aging drag queen," and Bob replied: "Of course she looks like a drag queen--she's wearing Bob Mackie.") Her "Love Rush" has slowed waaaaay down, sorry to say.

Poor Miss Ann-Margret. I was listening to 2 of her disco records yesterday: "Midnight Message" ( production sounds real good--woulda been better with another vocalist) & her Chic-like "Everybody Needs Somebody Sometime" (ok song--Bobby Vitteriti mixed it with Charlie Callelo's "Sing, Sing Sing!" because it has a similar drum part).
Miss A-M suffers from the too much hair-syndrome. As some divas age, they tastefully get short flattering coifs--but some carry on in the grand Barbara Cartland tradition of cotton candy hair that they wear like upholstery. Miss Ross is a victim of this also, now that her face is getting rounder, she thinks she's offsetting it with all that fake hair. Sorry, girl. You never looked better than when you wore it pulled back in a tasteful bun like on the great album covers of the '70's.
Paging Mr. Scavullo!!!
