Unknown instrumental from around 1977

I made a tape in 1977. Unfortunely the play list which was done in pencil has faded and I need to id the artist and song title to a instrumental jazz fuzion tune from the tape. Like the pencil my memory has also faded. Here's a link to the song. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

All I can say is it sounds Herbie Hancock-esque. I've only got his albums up to Gentle Thoughts (I think that was the name of his '76 LP), but this tune doesn't sound familiar. I haven't really listened to that LP for a while, so it might be from that. It's definitely not from Man Child, Thrust or Headhunters.

Disco Funk, I agree it does sound like Hancok's style. However I don't own any of his albums so I pretty sure that it's not him.
