please help me identify this song

i don't have a sound clip of the song, but they play it on the radio.
it's a girl singing and the background sounds like outer space. in the middle of the song there's a phone conversation with a guy.
the chorus ends with: you're never there for me.. or you're always here when i needed you (i can't remember which of the two as i've only heard it twice)
the song ends with her singins na na na's
