Looks damaged to me. I'd replace the stylus if a replacement is available. If that's not an option, you can replace the cartridge.
Hey All,
New to the forum. I am getting back into vinyl, and decided to give my turntable a once over and make sure it was still calibrated, and when I took apart I noticed that my stylus appears to be bent. See pic below.
This is not supposed to be like this, correct? I would assume the needle should line up with the groove on top and be in the middle, right?
Thanks for any advice you may be able to provide!

Find them and destroy them!
It is damaged.
This looks like a SHURE stylus to me.
Beware of the cheap counterfeit copies out there...
Thanks guys, I figured as much. Just wanted to check and be sure.
It is a Shure stylus, and I am ordering a replacement from Amazon.com, so I am pretty sure it is authentic!
