Midnight Star - Standing Together cd question

I recently purchased this cd on Ebay, on Unidisc, catalog # SPLK-7177. The description on Ebay said it would have 13 tracks, the original 8 album tracks, plus 4 single edits plus the previously unreleased "Here I Am" (the same song as recorded by Dynasty. Since I'm a huge Dynasty fan, that was the main reason of buying the cd.

However when the cd came it listed only 8 tracks on the cover. I haven't opened the seal yet because then I won't be able to send it back. Does anyone have this cd and know if it contains 8 or 13 tracks even though only 8 are listed? And if not, what is the catalog number of the version of the 13-track version? By the way, the version on iTunes has the 13 tracks, but I want a real cd :-)

Well unfortunately at the moment I'm not going to be a great help, as I do have the 13 track CD, but I just can't find it!

All I can tell you is that I'm fairly sure the CD I have came with an outer slip cover, which may not have listen the extra tracks, I'm not sure if undisc have issued this album on CD more than once, but newer undisc CDs seem to have a slip cover on them, but you can never tell with undisc, if no one else has this CD then I'll have another look and see if I can find my copy.

I have wondered about the "Here I Am" being on the Midnight Star CD, I couldn't work out if it was a mistake or was an unreleased version by them, I do have the Dynasty "Here I Am" promo 12" and the two version from memory sounded very similar, but I never bothered to compare them side by side.

And I'd have though that if you've bought the CD listed as an 13 track CD and then it turns out to be 8 track version you should be able to send it back, even if you've opened it, as they've listed the item incorrectly and supplied the wrong item to you.

Well I've finally found the Midnight Star "Standing Together" 13 track CD SPLK-7177, this clearly list 13 tracks on it's outer slip cover and on the tray artwork, the barcode is 068381717726.

The 13 track CD I have has the same cat no. as the one you've received, so it looks like you have an earlier 8 track version, so you may want to send it back.

Hey Ashley-
Thank you very much for taking the trouble to find out. My copy has the exact same catalog number and barcode, but the tray lists 8 songs only and there is no cardboard slipcase. I hate it when record companies re-release albums and do not change the catalog number... I had already contacted the seller about this not being the right version but even after three emails he hasn't responded, so I am now filing a complaint with Paypal.
