Morning Musume: As For One Day - Instrumental - Japanese Disco - Video

A few years ago while visiting Japan I was turned on to a very popular girl group there: Morning Musume. A cast of thousands describes them best! :) They're young girls full of energy and sing Japanese Pop.

However, one song they did in particular at the time (I'm thinking it was around 2004 or 2005) really blew me away. I'd forgotten about it in the intervening years but while cleaning up my hard drive I found where I'd downloaded the video of the song. But it was the "short" version video and I knew they'd released a longer version. (I never did buy any CDs by them or anything...not sure why!) So, I ran over to YouTube and found the longer version. But, I also found they'd released an instrumental version of the tune. And...OH MAN! I fell in love with the song all over again.

Here....give it a listen and see if you can understand why I'd want to share it here:

Morning Musume: As For One Day

Oh...oops. Forgot you might want to hear the vocal version as well!

If you like this, check out two of their earlier songs, "Love Machine" (no, not the Miracles classic) and "Renai Revolution 21."

Both of these are soooooooooo disco, and both were huge hits in Japan.
