IRENE CARA "FAME" DISCONET REMIX

On a visit to a record store in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in 1982, I found a picture sleeve 12" of Fame released as a three track maxi single, with a remix by Ed Smith of Disconet. The label has the red (is it a cow? or a bull?) RSO logo on it with the tan background. The Special Mix is 7:38 on side 1, Side 2 has

A. Fame (Extended Version)(5:14)

B. Hot Lunch Jam (4:09)

Was this ever issued on the Disconet Label? How common was this remix? Anybody?

this remix version is never published on Disconet Remix Service. A complete (I hope) discography from Disconet found you on my web-site.

I know however this version.

There are however several Remixes the DeeJays for Disconet produced, but were not published on Disconet.

Yep, I know the Disconet remix of "Fame" is out there: I saw it offered on eBay recently by a seller/DJ I trust.
