Gilla - Tu Es (Which Version?)

Can anybody tell me what version of the song this is and when it was released? It's not the original, I know that much. This is a sample from an old DJ mix.

I'm not sure how "old" your DJ mix tape is, but there is a 2000 remix version of "Tu Es" and the sample you provide certainly sounds like a contemporary remix with the added production elements.

That's what I thought, but I've heard the 2000 remix and it's more a commercial trance affair.

hmmm you got me...I have the Canadian 12" that couples it with "help help", and it's not that, sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I love "Tu Es" BTW

    Thanks for looking.

    This is the mix.

It’s not 75, but sounded about right for Summer ’76. Everything seems ok apart from the Gilla record, which sounds like some commercial Euro house mix from the mid 90’s. Most bizarre. The original is pretty slow.

    ………….

Actually I think I’ve found it. It’s No.2 on here.
