Hello!
does anyone out here know what is the difference between the original 7:15 version and the odd 8:15? never seen the latter before, but is now common on the net on the p2p. I went to Discogs but it's not even there. It sounds very much alike the original, and wonder if it's just slowered down get longer.

Dayna, do you really know Sharon Redd, or are you just TRIPPIN??? I just had to ask 'cause you never know, you guys could know each other!!!
I was friends with Ted "Wizard" Mills of Blue Magic back in the 90's. We even lived in the same Complex.:icon_cool:
But to answer Trammp Johnson's question, it may have been slowed down to give it an extra minute. But what sense would that make if all you're going to do is speed up the pitch on your turntable or whatever, and then you're back to SQUARE ONE!!!

There is a Disconet version that I believe came out before the Profile 12". Parts of it differ significantly from the Tee Scott mix that was commercially released. Like most songs on Disconet, it is pressed with another song on the same side of the vinyl and neither one of them is individually timed.
Hope that helps!
