Yeah, it's a pretty sleazy song. :icon_twisted::icon_lol: I'm kinda glad I didn't pick up all the innuendo back in the day. It was on a K-Tel record I had in 6th grade. :icon_eek: I was listening to it the other night, though, and it jumped out as perfect for this thread.

Wow! I never thought of that, but "Smiling Faces" would be a great mix with "Freaky". Very similar sinister sound to the music.
I can't believe this one hasn't been posted yet. :icon_eek: Allow me:

a couple more moaners :

Isn't the long version .... the part II of LOVE MACHINE by The Miracles heavily laden with the romantic sounds of sweet nothings??
I think so but I can't confirm it because the music mafia won't let us hear a version on youtube ...

Sorry, I'm digressing from the moanin an-a groanin but I knew those Undisputed Truth & Leon Haywood tracks sounded familiar; I've got this Bobbi Humphrey fusion version of 'Smilin Faces Sometimes' on a compilation & love it's moodiness:
...ya gotta beat the street......
Koko Si by Buari
What A Difference A Day Makes by Esther Phillips
Disco Funk

My apologies to member Mario who previously pondered this same topic:
Moanin' & Groanin' 1970's Style
and from which I will now cull some of the ones not yet mentioned here :
discokicks:
Another song that I thought was quite interesting (lack of a better word) is Dancing and Romancing off the Passion album. I don't know how popular this particular cut was in the discos, but the middle break has these moans and groans created by a couple of violins by the sound of it....quite, ahh, unique.
Unique -yes ! & Hilarious !!! :icon_eek::icon_lol: ( there're also the occasional traditional female humaniod disco gasps in there too)
Neonlights:
a couple for the list:
The Tee Cees - Disco Love Bite
Musique - Love Massage (not the best Musique track, but it's got quite the climax to say the least..)
lovemaking ......or exorcism !!! :icon_eek::icon_eek:
you're misinterpreting the events here officers .....this is a massage session....

Oh, and here is the Shep Pettibone remix of Come Let Me Love You. It's been among my longtime favorites.
Find them and destroy them!

Just for the thrill I just picked up a copy of the Night & Day LP by the John Davis & Monster Orchestra at a local thrift shop..
You can find some nice moans and groans on "In the still of the night"...![]()

And then there's
Jennifer .
she moans:
Baby, take me
high upon a hillside

A mostly unnoticed b-side of I KEEP COMING BACK FOR MORE ,
the funky tune gets notice in 1986 when Danny Krivit does a remix for:
the moans and groans though come from the 1977 original :
LET'S GO ALL THE WAY ( DOWN)
Brenda pleads increasingly throughout with lines like :
I want it baby
I need it baby
Some satisfaction is what I need so give it here
and at 3:05 she gets her wish .
