Last year a colleague's giant wheel was nicked. When the police traced the gang who did it, the poles were already melted. Steel is expensive! They steal our trucks, our cranes, our cars and indeed...our attractions!

OMG! I had no idea it was that bad. Is this mostly Eastern Euro crooks doing the bad deed?

Going back to the vehicle, I recall seeing a pic of a car sold in South Africa that was equipped with a flame thrower in case of carjacking attempts! Actually, I think you may have been the one to post that a few years back. Either way, stay safe.
