Almighty Records - Fantastic Remixes and Remakes

Probably already aware of this record label in the UK, but if you haven't then check them out! They have a fantastic back catalogue of old skool tunes, remade for the 00s. I found a blinding version of Freda Payne's 'Band of Gold' - you must listen to and if like me you like what you hear, then add it to your MP3 collection (getting hip with the technology - no longer searching for vinyl to convert to MP3 - now looking for a done and dusted job lot to digitalise my collection!). They have also Disco-fied Abba (yes it is possible!) and three blinding tracks you may never have thought to dance to are: 'If it wasn't for the nights' ; 'Just Like That' (never released by Abba, but covered here by Abbacadabra) and 'Under Attack'

Their Diana Ross Love Hangover (Almighty Anthem 12inch Mix) is EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD !!!

So too is the Supreme's 'Stoned Love' - a brilliant original that has been updated very well. It is coming out on the latest Almighty Definitive 6 album due for UK release in the next four weeks. That album also features Diana Ross 'Aint No Mountain High Enough' - thinking of downloading the mp3 version instead of purchasing the physical double CD.
