Donna Summer "J'et Aime" In Mono???

Dont know why but I felt like doing a vinyl to CD compareing of the "Thank God It's Friday" soundtrack LP to just remember how bad that original vinyl was actually mastered after owning the now out of print CD reissue of it for quite sometime. I noticed on the vinyl when I put my headphones on....J'et Aime is in Mono!!!!!!! Do I have a rare defect pressing? Or was it pressed like that on every copy of the LP? Very strange indeed, does anyone else know of this?

The Canadian pressing also has this track in mono... it also sounds like it was being played off in the next room somewhere.

Perfect description actually as in being played in the next room somewhere :lol: Its horrable!! Too bad they never released a decent stereo copy on a 12" on vinyl or something unless its part of that impossible to find TGIF DJ Promo boxed set of 12"s from the LP.

Her version of Je T'Aime is not part of that promo set. They gave us "Last Dance" and "With Your Love" as the Donna Summer contribution.
