disco/latino song in Spanish 1976 or earlier

I do have a bad recording of this on tape somewhere if I can ever find my tape and work out how to get it onto here...I heard this in Spain in July 76 at a disco. It is similar in style to a.i.e. or Brazil Carnival and sung in Spanish (male singer(s). It isn't El Bimbo. I also heard it a couple of years later on a Polish (I think) radio station.
I have really good memories of that holiday and that track in particular. I was staying in Club Eldorado in Mallorca and had a huge crush on this guy from a band called Azar who used to play there sometimes. Sadly I was too shy to do anything about it, he was always the one that got away!!!
Any help i d ing the song would be appreciated.

hiya, no that's not it, it was faster, more similar to 'Cafe' but I will try to get a recording of it in the next few days, thanks so much for your help anyway.
