early 70s r&b/disco-you're the one

This was a pretty raucous horn & vocal song with the lyrics-
"Go tell the neighborhood, You're the One"
The break was a back & forth "I'm the one, you're the one" followed by a great descending horn riff.
Please tell me who this is and if it's available.

Sly Stone wrote it but I think it was by Little Sister. Is this the one that Boystown Gang did a version of?

Yes, Boystown Gang covered it. For some reason I was thinking it was one of Ecstasy Passion Pain, Three degrees type of act, but have no real idea.
