Caught the West End production (currently in previews) of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert and was delighted to see it adding in some disco tunes (beyond what the now-classic 1994 film featured). In addition to "I Love the Nightlife", "Go West", "I Will Survive", "Shake Your Groove Thing", they've added to the stage production "Don't Leave Me This Way", "Pop Muzik", "Hot Stuff", "MacArthur Park" (in a truly spectacular number), and "Boogie Wonderland". Am hoping the show's a hit in the U.K., as it deserves a much wider audience than just Australia (where it ran for several years). '80s idol Jason Donovan stars. :icon_cool:
