Many of you don't know:icon_question: that there were a lot of good disco songs that came out of Canada! In fact they were one of the pioneers too in disco and house music with that distinct "canadian disco" sound.


From artists like:

Gino Soccio, France Joli, Lime, Freddie James, Erotic Drum Band, Katmandu, Carol Jiani, Voggue, Nightlife Unlimited, Witch Queen, Lorna, Vera, Diva, Christopher Mills, Mother F, Extensive Care, Joy, Mystery, Geraldine Cordeau, Peter Batah etc......


Most of the producers and song writers like, Dennis Lepage, George Cuccuzella, Peter di Milo, Gino Soccio, Peter Alves were based in mostly in Montreal and a few in Toronto.



I am proud to be a canadian, so this my tribute compilation of the best Canadian disco music.

Thanks Dave, that's much appreciated. I've downloaded them both for later. I reckon part one is slightly stronger, mainly because of Lime and Nightlife Unlimited. You've got over a dozen of my personal faves over the two sessions. I've enjoyed Canadian Disco for nigh on thirty years now. A lot of it has been on Dutch pressings as it was difficult to get Canadian back then. I reckon Canada and Holland are the coolest countries for disco, so stay proud and thanks for the mixes.
