Hi to everybody:
As nobody help me the first time, I will try again. Do you know if these two song really ever existed?? I can not remember clearly but almost sure I have listened to them some 30 years ago.
Any help, again???
Cheers,
Hello:
The other day I was trying to remember if these two songs really existed:
I'll be here by Brenda and Tabulations
and
We got love by Ben E. King
I remember that I have heard them but I am not sure and never saw it in LP or CD.
Any help??
Cheers.

OK!
Three years and no answers. It seems nobody ever listened to these songs. Well my search continues and voilá...
Yes. "Ben E. King - We got love" existed. I was not completely insane. I downloaded from here Rhino - Digital Detail - Ben E. King - I Had Love
I remember some of my best years of my life.
But, the search continues:
The song "I'll be here" by Brenda & Tabulations or by Jay & The Techniques is still misterous. Did it ever exist?
Cheers,
Hessel

OK:
Here is a sample of "We got love - Ben E. King" (do not worry, only 30 seconds and low quality).
Without no doubt it is a Baker, Harris & Young style. Very Philly song. Isn't it?

Hope you enjoy as I enjoyed.

Hi,
The Ben E King is never outa my box ..typical Norman Harris production ..wonderful!
It's taken form the LP I Had A Love, on Atlantic and it contains a few more gems on it too, so it's worth hunting down.
My (slight) claim to fame is I gave it the 'heads up' to the compiler (Ralph Tee, Expansion records) of The Spirt Of Philadelphia 2 a few years ago (well he was at a gig of mine and heard me play it) and it got included a few years later, coz he was floored by it at the time of hearing it.
Here's a link to the Spirit 2 album:

Needless to say that if you like the Philly vibe, this ..& Vol 1 are ESSENTIAL!!
