Ok, had no Idea that it was "that" difficolt, HINT HINT: the record label of the track is the legendary PRELUDE!
Hey!! Springtime is here, the sky is blue, the birds are singing, let's just hope that bombs are not starting dropping ruining the whole effect!!!!
The year is 1982, she's a REAL Disco-lady, more popular for electric funk tracks, but in this case this was a minor downtempo number taken from her second album (it was released as single in U.K):
When youre out there on your own
Always on the run
Having fun
Did you ever feel alone
While youre searching on the phone for that special one
And we ll taking it further
Cause it feel so much better
Cause we re doing it together
So dont feel alone
But be careful when you choose
Dont abuse then you lose
The track has a spectacular vocal arrangement and a well organized strings/horns section.
Name the track and the Songstress!!!

mmmmh,
I can't listen to my records now but the only female singer that recorded 2 albums for Prelude in those years should be Gayle Adams
Gayle "..You got me burning up.." Adams is a good guess, but not the right one, the artist I'm talking about had THREE album on Prelude in 1980/1982/1983.
Oh c'mon!!! Is not that difficolt!!!!!!!!!

Let\'s get it straight....\"
ROB
Assuming that the only lady that fits the info given by Mr. pecks would be Sharon Redd........
1st album Sharon Redd from '80
2nd album Redd hot from '82
3rd album Love how you feel from '83
The song has to be from Redd hot then, but i cant find it here.
It's not :Never Give You Up, Beat The Street, In The Name Of Love or We're Friends Again for i know those.
Leaves : You're The One, Send Your Love or Takin' A Chance On Love.
This is as far as i can get, my guess would be "Takin' a chance on love"![]()
