Not unless you plan on stoping in Chicago
Hi everybody, I'll have to go in Springfield, Missouri in the middle of February and, as always, I am asking why not to look for some vinyl records shop. Does anyone know any good address in this city or does anybody know where could I find any address?

i have to chuckle also...springfield missouri is one of the last places on earth i would want to spend time in..but if you go to "www.google.com" , look up springfield, u can get a variety of pages. on the home page is a way to contact the "chamber of commerce" ....send them an e/mail asking if there are any used record shops in the area. as Branson { BIG country/ western music town } is nearby..u may find some shops.
Who knows...u may be strike "disco GOLD" and we all will be on the next bus to Springfield
actually, if you bump into a used vinyl store or flea market in Springfield, don't overlook it! Those are usually places where a lot of people sleep on disco and are the real good places for vinyl hunting since most people would have no idea of the value of those records:)
with kind regards,
kelvy
Thank you Jack, I agree with you Springfield is not the best to visit but I'm going there for a business trip. Anyway I just want to thank you for the information. I have just sent an email to the Chamber of Commerce of Springfield asking about a vinyl records shop. Let's see...

I passed two days in Springfield, MO, and found a record shop with "LPs for 1$" and I buyed 18 pcs. Found LP from McFadden & Whitehead" Ain't no stoppin' us now and 12" from Bombers "Get dancin'". Emotion's "Rejoice" with the gemm "Don't ask my neighbors" and one Lp from Van McCoy. This shop is in downtown Springfield (!), "Stick it in your ears", 300 Walnut st., if someone has the opportunity to go there it is worth a visit.
