Put Your Hands Together

I'm trying to identify the original song that the chorus to D-Mob's 1989 single "Put Your Hands Together" was taken from. I looked online and kept coming up with a 1973 song by The O'Jays but it's not the right song. I have an MP3 of what I think is the original - its chorus sounds something like "put your hands together, put your love together" - but I don't know who it's by.

Any ideas???

Well you nearly got it right, as it is the O'Jays but it's the killer tune "Put Our Heads Together" from 1983.

Thank you so much ashley k, that's exactly what I was looking for! Geez, it was late 80s house, why didn't I guess that what it was supposed to be saying wasn't what it originally said! ;-P
