For our first party of 2009, we welcome back to Nocturnal the legend that is Greg Wilson.

People throw the word legend around a lot in dance music these days, but in Greg Wilson's case, there's probably no better term to describe him.

Regarded as one of the most important figures on the UK dance scene, he enjoyed hugely successful residencies at Manchester's Hacienda and Legends and was instrumental in breaking dance music to the UK.

His recent debut BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix received rave reviews as do his red hot appearances at clubs and festivals such as the Electric Chair, Fabric and Bestival.
