I know it is very obvious, but have you heard Lady Marmalade by Labelle?
I am a bit embarrased to ask casue this song still gets radio play in my country
I heard it the other day.... during a special event and I saw from a new light
before I didn't really fancy it.....
Anyways here we go
The Song
has someone with an (Emotions like voice) singing
something like
Boogie on cha cha-mana (I am a bit uncertain about the last two words but it sounds something like that first I thought the Cha Cha-Mana was something like Barry Mannilow's Copacabana)
After the chorous there is this early electric keyboard being played...
I therefor suspect it must be somewhere between 80-84 best guess is probably 82.....
in my quest for this song
I have already found other greats like
Freddie James - Get up and Boogie
Gregg Diamond - Bionic Boogie
Sylvester - Boogie Fever
I know it is very obvious, but have you heard Lady Marmalade by Labelle?
Leather is the way forward!
You say Emotions like.... is it a female singing ?
or is it just Al jarrau singing Boogie down with that phat synth riff ?
Yes.....Originally Written by Leatherman
what has that got to do with it? :-?
NoOriginally Written by kaliffen
that not it
I am sorry kaliffen
but the song I am talking about is a bit more latin style
and has a slower bpm then Al Jarreau
but it is far more famous then Boogie Down
Boogie Down doesn't exactly get a lot of airplay,,,,,,,
