Hey, great selection Cdnbob, are these 12" or LP's? That Giorgio Moroder is a great one!!! Isn't that the album with "Evolution" on it? Or was it the Battlestar Galactica album? I don't remember, but the "Evolution" that I have is a 1 sided 12", that Casablanca was famous for putting out back in the 70's.

First Choice's "Hold Your Horses", is another dynamite album. "Love Thang", "Double Cross", and others. And that's not a bad price either if it's on the original Gold Mind lable. Most stuff that were re-pressed were put on the Salsoul lable.

"High On Mad Mountain", definately a mover and a shaker!!! You can still play that today, and get the crowd moving!!! As a matter of fact, that's another record that runs well with Lil' Louis's: "French Kiss"! If you catch French Kiss during break down, just before it starts to slow down, you have plenty of time to blend in "High On Mad Mountain"!!! Or if you're lucky enough to have the import of French Kiss, that has nothing but the break down, without the part that slows down, you can just let the two RIDE OFF INTO THE SUNSET!!! It's a Definate Crowd Pleaser!!!

No, all of these purchases were albums except where noted. Yes, the First Choice album is the Gold Mind version. What always suprises and amazes me is to find 12 inch singles or albums today that are still sealed and have been sealed since they were released 25-plus years ago.

The Sylvester album I already have but I couldn't resist picking up a second copy as I love that album. And dopey me, I got home and was digging through stuff that I've bought over the past year or so and lo and behold, I already had a copy of Moroder's From Here To Eternity album.:icon_surprised: :icon_lol:

Yup I do. I have a copy that I purchased when it first came out. I was a bit disappointed by it as a lot of what's on the album I didn't like much at the time so I didn't play it much. But cool that you picked it up for $5 as that's less than what I paid for it brand new.

Your wrong on this one ..I've been buying from a dealer for years that was a former DJ during the 70's/80's..And yes it's real!!! In fact , if you look on the database on this website, you will see an entry for it in the vinyl database.

Possibly, but I'm surprised that there's no entry for it at discogs.com.

Just because there are no entries for it at discogs, it does'nt mean it does'nt exists..I've uploaded 6 mainstream records in the last couple of weeks that were not on the database..All promos..Since these records were never sold to the public commercially, these records will show up on discogs at a slower pace and will be few and far between...Here are a few records I recently uploaded on discogs:
