Happy to help, I didn't know the tune it was just a guess at the title, but it's a very nice tune.

Sorry I can't help with the other one at the moment, I've had a good try, but I can't even say if it's US or European.

I've been searching for it all over the net,
I think it's around 1980-1983, the bas sequence is played by hand,
as all the other instruments.
The production & the way he sings, has to be from the U.S
The chorus & verse lines are asking you to take over the dancefloor.
I won't give up.

It's very possible it's Robert Gold, You can't imagine how happy I am.
I have a part of the song on a very bad used tape dated over 20 years,
next step is tryin' to find it.
At discogs I have been searching for " You Can Turn Back " instead for " You Can't Turn Back "
