The works of producers - Part 1 - Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewi

I must admit that I've been heavily inspired by Paul's "Best of Artists" threads so I wanted to start something similar.
However this one will not be about artists...instead I think it's time to give attention to the producers involved
(sorry if this has been done before). I'll try to steer clear of the most obvious choices even though I can't rule out that Jaques Fred Petrus will come up sooner or later :)

Part One will be about Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. What are the best tracks they have been responsible for?

    I'd say:
    SOS Band - Hight Hopes
Thelma Houston - You Used To Hold Me So Tight
Cheryl Lynn - It's Gonna Be Right

If any of you guys are up to participating in a thread like this, I'll throw out a new name every week until I can't think of any more (now that should take some time  )

"Just be good to me" SOS Band

And a question for lovers of underground disco:

There are two obscure and early productions by a certain Terry Lewis:

TERRY LEWIS & REASON TO LIVE: Disco city on Terry Tunes Records (co-produced by Patrick Adams and distributed by P&P Records)

THE YOUNGER GENERATION: We rap more mellow on Brass Records (a moniker for Grandmaster Flash & FF and the same rap verses than "Superrappin'")

Is this Terry Lewis the same of Jam-Lewis fame ????

My favourite Jam & Lewis tracks (oo there are so many!)are:

    'Wild Girls' - Klymaxx
    'Encore' - Cheryl Lynn
'A Broken Heart Can Mend'- Alexander O'Neal
'What Have You Done For Me Lately' - Miss Jackson (if youre nasty!)
    'Human' - Human League
    'Will You Satisfy' - Cherrelle
'You Used To Hold Me So Tight' - Thelma Houston
    'Knees' - Howard Johnson

Their 80's stuff was so brilliant but how come their post - 1990 stuff has generally been such dross? :-?
    ...ya gotta beat the street......

Very interesting, Giovanni..allthough I doubt it's the same guy. if it is, these recordings surely predates the Flyte Time / Time stuff he did.
Also, Lewis recording without Jimmy Jam seems unlikely since they already met in high school. Just how much would Lewis be able to reach musicwise before that!?
