Request identification help from early eighties funk specialists...

I'm guessing that the name of the song is "Maybe, Maybe". I heard it on a weekly funk radio broadcast in Boston called "The Darker Side" around 1981, but the DJ didn't name the artist. The only line that I can remember is "I am just a lonely little girl..." Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'll might have to dig deep in the crates for this one. So far, the only track which popped up was "Maybe" by 9th Creation,
from their extremely rare 4-track EP. But unfortunately released around 1986, lol.
Cool track though imo, and the leadvocalist sings "Maybe Baby..." in the chorus.

Boogyjuice, thanks for taking the time to reply. 9th Creation has a nice sound, I liked it a lot. I have since found out that the name of the song I mentioned is very likely "Maybe, Maybe", recorded by the group "Mass Production" in 1982. It appeared on their album "In A City Groove". I have yet to confirm it is the song I heard. When I find out for sure, I'll let you know.
