    Wow, What A Find!

I managed to get my hands on a copy of the rare Modern Sound Corporation LP. The LP itself was in okay shape, but it was what else I found in the record that was a real surprise - a hand written note from the guitarist in the band! It's on some letterhead notepad from the Esso Motor Hotel. It appears this was a copy sent to a friend of the person who signed it, M.Denti, who is the guitarist in the group. He writes a bunch of stuff about touring with the band in Europe and that the record's going to be released in the states on TK (I have yet to see a copy of that show up anywhere). He wrote down a return address in Stockholm, Sweden, which is where the band originated from. Pretty cool! I wonder if the guy who received the record knew the letter was inside? Otherwise, would he have left it in there before selling it off? :)

Anyone come across records like that, where inside are some personal items from one of the band members or artists themselves (or someone really close to them, like a family member)?

Wow! Pretty cool. Never come across anything like that in any used records I've bought.

The only thing even remotely similar is that I have a couple Eagles albums (Their Greatest Hits and Hotel California) that have little notes written on the smooth areas between the grooves and the labels, rather than just the usual numbers/letters. I have no idea if the notes were on the master and got pressed onto all the the disks or if it was something else.

    I REMEMBER YESTERDAY Casablanca LP

with this hand written note scrawled across the blank cover :
