-So, I heard this song on the radio a couple days ago and many times before but I cannot figure out the name or singer of it! The beat has been stuck in my head and its driving me nuts lol. Its a song from the mid-late '70s, very upbeat, very '70s tune. It has a prominent bass line and also violins throughout. The only definite lyrics I can offer are, "...I love you more and more each day..." It does sound like a Black woman, I'm pretty sure, probably one of the more famous singers of the '70s. There is another recurring verse in the song that repeats frequently, I do not know the exact words but it SOUNDS almost identical to, "its Heaven, its Heaven, its Heaven, ohhh..." That might be what she's saying, pretty close any way, but I cannot figure out what the singer is actually saying in that verse. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks A Lot!!!![]()

-I was typing what little lyrics I know into different search engines with and without quotes etc, etc and by sheer luck happened upon this page that popped up on Google from HERE, LOL. The Internet is amazing.
Bonnie Pointer-Heaven Must Have Sent You...finally got it!!!
Re: Who has best scat in a song disco/quasi disco/or nondisco?
by DAWNOFTHEDEAD"Am I the only one who cracks up everytime I hear Bonnie Pointer's scat toward the end of "Heaven Must Have Sent You"? When she starts that "boop bup boop bup doop bup bup, I love you more and more each day" I have a huge ear to ear grin on my face each time.
I'm sure that wasn't the intended reaction, but it sure is funny to me."
