    Exclamation Getdisconnected.com. Customer Feedback?

    Hi,
    Is there anybody out here who has the complete name and address details from Ore getdisconnected.com as this guy is not responding on emails anymore ,and I want to thank him in person for not sending the cds I paid for !
    Its more then 30 months now and still no cd showed up !
    Are there more people who paid for there cds and recieved nothing from this clown ?!
    I look forward to get more info on this Ore thing?

    Fred,

    I'm sorry to hear about your ordeal. I ordered the Poussez! CD from him years back (maybe 4 or 5) when getdisconnected was just trying to get off the ground. I got it in the mail within the usual 7-10 days; that was the only CD I ordered from him.

    I know this doesn't make up for anything lost, but if you were thinking of ordering other CDs in his cabal (had getdisconnected's laziness not been a reality), amazon.com or other mail-order places have his CDs--for considerably lower prices.

    I used to think Getdisconnected.com had gotten it's act together. Sadly, I've now rejoined the ranks of people who have ordered and paid for CD from them but still haven't received the product. Ore used to respond back to my Emails to let me know what was going on if there were delays. Now, not a word. Don't know if he's still with the company or just what. Anyway, I have seen some of the CDs I've ordered on Amazon.com and other sites, as well as in some stores. Plus, they have a MySpace page which I will sometimes see that they are online. I thought about sending them a message through that site, but I'm not very optimistic that they will respond so I haven't tried. I've basically given up on the company. Sorry I don't have better news.

    My rule of thumb is if they don't send the product to you within 30 days, and there isn't any communication after 3 tries, then go to the credit card company and get a reversal. I had to do that with another small-time online seller. It takes a few months to get the money back, but you do. Just don't wait 30 months to do something about it.

    Their page was last updated on 22/01/2009 so they are active, plus they also work via JUNO.UK. Keefe, I would send them a message or place a comment on their page and ask where your CD's are!

    Plus, they are a member of this board. Maybe they can log in and explain things!!

    Good idea, VS! I suspect they probably won't allow my comment to appear on their page, but if it gets their attention!
