I'm still surprised that no one has mentioned my man: Grover Washington Jr. His performances at the Newport Jazz Festivals are legendary. I liked him better when he was playing Alto & Tenor sax as opposed to his Soprano stuff, which was still cool.
It would be an instant overdose!!! But very interesting....hmmm.
