here's what I got after some googling for who wrote the song:
Adams/Wiltshire That means Adams as well as some dude by the name of Wiltshire both wrote it. Melodies are essential to good disco, they go together, unlike things like rap, or country, which is why we, as disco lovers love disco!!! It's good music, with great melodies, beats, lush instrumentation, etc.

wow, that's interesting, I didn't know that. It seems like there haven't been many women who wrote the music, or did she write the lyrics? Either way, that's an interesting fact.

And the photo was taken at the legendary Sigma Sound Studios, although I'm not sure if it was the New York studio or the original Philly one. I believe that a lot of the Salsoul Philly stuff was done in the NY studio. Disco Funk
