but I'd also like to say THANK YOU .....thank you George Bush for your eight years of creating the perfect storm.... without having someone of your caliper as President ... the American people probably would not have been quite as ready to make this huge leap forward as they did in this election .....

You created this environment where the populous' response was .... Yes I'm ready!!
I'm ready to vote for whomever ....whomever it is of quality that stands up with the promise of change , of taking us as far far away from this miserable course of yours as possible !!!!!

Well now...W just dropped a huge pile of **** (double standard you know) into BO's and the dems's laps. They're so smart we'll see how they do with it especially after all of their pointless ranting and political posturing. I have a hard time imagining Nancy Pelosi helping out in a constructive way - she always acts like the dear in the headlights or she's having a Midol moment or something.

About BO being Prez - a great day for America! I hope we can finally put the race issue behind us. I support his presidency totally (even though I voted for Ralph Nader...). I've seen first hand what racism can do to people and do to a family. It's been a very long time but I never forgot. And I hope that is now behind us.

TRUST me, the issue of race will never EVER be "behind us" and I speak from over 50 years of very personal experience.

Sadly I agree. I guess it's human nature for someone to think that he, she is better, smarter and on and on ad nauseum than someone else for one reason or another.
