I went to a 2nd hand record shop yesterday and came home with a whole bag of vinyl goodies. :)

This is what I got for about $2.50 each (in danish currency):

Body – ”Body” (MCA, 1987): A fine slice of mid 80’s soul/funk from this long forgotten girl trio with the wonderful ”In the Middle Of The Night” included. (there’s even a photocopied press release inside – I love when that happens) :D

L.A. Boppers – ”Make Mine Bop”(MCA, 1982)

High Inergy – ”Shoulda Gone Dancin’” (Motown, 1979) : Does anybody know anything about this all female vocal group?

Delegation – ”Delegation” (Ariola, 1981): At last, my Delegation collection is complete! :)

Streetsounds edition 15 and 20

Streetsounds Preview - a promo from 1987 incl. Nikita Denise and Jimmy Williams of Double Exposure.

Barrabas – ”Watch Out” (Atco, 1976): Thanks to this board, I know this group now!

Vee Allen – ”All About Love” (MCA, 1983) : I don’t know her, but Al Hudson produced the album

Shakatak – ”Turn The Music Up” (Polydor, 1989) : It may be too recent to actually be any good. :-?

Betty Wright – ”Travelin’ In The Wright Circle” (TK, 1979) : We all love Miss B.

Native Son – ”Native Son” (Infinity, 1979) : some Jap jazz-funk.

Carol Lynn Townes –”Satisfaction Guaranteed” (Polydor, 1985)

Cheryl Lynn – ”In Love” (CBS, 1979)

Val Young – ”Seduction” (Gordy, 1985)

Ingram – ”Night Stalkers” (Other End, 1984)

Sea Level – ”Cats On The Coast” (Capricorn, 1977)
