Yesterday on our local adult R & B station, they played a mix from Steve "Silk" Hurley: Barry White's "Your Sweetness Is My Weakness with Whitney Houston's "It's Not Right, But It's OK." It sounded pretty good, but I had forgotten how DAMN good "Sweetness" sounds. I wonder which CD has the loooong version on it?

Hi there Leanmean - nice to see you are still around. And I have a big thing for Barry's music. I have a lot of his stuff, in fact I am getting close to having everything.

You can find the looooong version of Your sweetness is my weakness (which has to be one of my all-time favs) on:

LP: The Man (1978). No time indicated but obviously un-cut. This album contains also two other excellent tracks: "It's only love doing it's thing (babe)" which was another single, and the Billy Joel cover "I love you just the way you are". The Love Unlimited Singers also sound awesome on this release. Get it! It's on 20th Century Records.

CD: Greatest Hits Volume II (clocks at 8:13).

Both can be found on CDNow for $ 9.99...
