I think that is part of the lyrics in this late '80s house song that kinda has a gay underground groove to it.
In the song, a woman is talking to her ex and he replies to her in a dismissive way. The sound of a another man can be heard talking to the girlfriend's ex as he speaks to her. Presumeably the ex has moved on to a gay relationship.

Oh Yeah! "I Called U" by Lil Louis & The World (as they were known back then) was the rather unsuccesful follow up to his monster hit single "French Kiss"

I have the 12" - it was released on ffrr/london in 1990.
