This might be difficult because the song is instrumental and I don't even have an original sample.

I sequenced the hookline which stuck with me for weeks and uploaded it:

I think someone who knows the song will recognize it instantly.

Overall the song was pretty straight 4/4. As far as I can remember, the hookline was played by a pretty funky sounding electric guitar (nothing near what you hear in my sample. This "guitar" was the best I could come up with).
I think the melody was also played or at least accompanied by horns.
