keep raving about a disco band, the Hercules and Love Affair. Their song "Blind" (video on YouTube) does have a Eurodisco, sythesizer flavor. What do you think? I kinda like it but feel stronger vocals would have helped....

I agree with you about the vocals - kind of weak. The Frankie Knuckles mix I'm listening to sounds like an '80s electro-pop song set to a 1978 Euro-disco bottom end.

I'm sure I'd love it in a club setting, but I'm not really feeling it as a "listening" song.

Thanks for posting about the song and group. I really like it and the vocals are quite intriguing as well...reminiscent of Alison Moyet but not quite as strong.

What's nice about the song Blind is how engaging the lyrics are and then expressing them in a very danceable arrangement. Watching them in this live video, it's just so refreshing to see an actual band putting a little Euro groove into their music. This is the kind of song that underground dance clubs thrived upon and what kept disco itself so interesting.
