help with dance song from mid 80s,84,85

dont have much to go on-this song was not mainstream by any means-never heard it except for a disco mix played on radio on a new york dance station in mid eighties which i recorded on cassette

it has alot of brass instruments in the music and i think the title of the song is "DONT GO LOSING FAITH" "everybody hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm dont go losing faith"

I thank anyone who might know this song and can lead me to the title and artist.based on th info i gave i will be shocked,but happy if anyone can help
