Americans, is it possible that our elected officials do not have our best interest in mind? Would our government try to hurt us? Personally, after watching these videos, I believe that the mainstream media is involved in covering up the fact that 9/11 was not planned by Osoma Bin Ladin, but by others.....

What does anyone have to say about what REALLY happened on September 11th, 2001?

I was there and I saw the whole thing unfold right before my eyes. Two of my friends died there. 7 years later we're still mourning the losses. No one has found Osama yet. I swear I think it's not over yet. Until we deliver a strong message to all the world's terrorists (including America) that we will not stand for these attacks to continue, and our troops work together around God's green earth for justice and liberation for all countries great and small, the real truth is no matter where you live we aren't truly safe at all!

It's time we around the world gets the hint.

It has been my contention from day 1 that "the bush crime family" allowed the events of 9/11 to occur. Others have said they were a part of the activities and that wouldn't surprise me.
How else can you get away with doing whatever you want nationally and internationally while allowing your corporate buddies to raid the treasury to the tune of over a trillions dollars.
The deeper you look into this the dirtier it gets. Just how far down the rabbit hole you go depends on how cynical you wish to be.
As an example, Thom Hartmann is coming out with a book that shows Nixon's strong ties to the mafia and how that is linked to this cabal in the White House.
So to get back to your point, would the government lie about 9/11, yes. This probably hurts less than finding out there is no Sanni Clause though

As the brilliant Naomi Klein contends in her book The Shock Doctrine, 9/11 provided the neocons [Project For the New American Centrury aka PNAC] with the "Pearl Harbor-like" catastrophic event they had been waiting for-- to scare the bejesus out of Americans and get them in a "we want REVENGE" mood and thus allow the Bush Crime Family to launch an attack in the Middle East [wrong country, who gives a ****?...Bushies are hand-holding "family" with the Saudis who actually were the attackers, right?] and create war to please the right wing-neocon think tanks, the military industrial complex, the oil CEOs, the no bid contract clean-up creeps from Halliburton/Bechtel, etc. and provide Eric Prince's private military group Blackwater with a chance to play sheriff-with-no- consequences-games in Iraq. :icon_evil::icon_evil::icon_evil:

And the dumb Amuricuns said, "hell yeah--we wanna little get back. We need a war." The mainstream press was complicit and spoon fed the propaganda for the administration to the public and failed to ask any questions that might have shown the wrong-headed idiocy of war with Iraq. So now all these years later Amuricuns are finally fed up with this never-ending waste of treasure and human life. And now we have a fine mess that Obama is supposed to rescue us from.

That the final image of Bush in Iraq seared into the memories of the world is of the doofus ducking two shoes thrown at him by an irate journalist, not the "War President/Statesman" photo op his "legacy" gurus were opting for--is the only good thing that's come out of that "money pit" hellhole. We have destroyed that country and for what exactly? Money to be made for the Bush Crime family and their cronies. They have stolen our treasury and bankrupted this country.

A whole slew of these creeps should be prosecuted for war crimes. But it won't happen. Or will it? Naaaaaw--it's the corrupt American way--the real criminals get away with everything including murder and treason and the guy busted for a joint goes to jail.

A few things about the "proof" that towers 1 and 2 were controlled demolitions:

- The comparison to the burning office tower in Spain isn't valid IMHO. The twin towers were hit by planes loaded full of jet fuel, whereas the tower in Spain would've just had regular combustible materials. I would think that while the fire in the Spanish building got much larger and burned much longer, it didn't get nearly as hot.

- As for the "proof" of tower 1 and 2 being a controlled demolition due to the speed at which they fell, and the windows being blown out on lower floors before the higher floors landed on them: this doesn't factor in the possibility that the core was already collapsing, and the middle of the building crumbled first with the exterior following later.

- Tower 7 definitely seems like a controlled explosion. Now, why they had the building rigged that way in the first place is the real question.

Nonetheless, I still don't believe that Al Qaeda was not ultimately responsible. The men who flew those planes into the towers knew that they were on a suicide mission. I can't imagine any agent provocateur willing to do that; it would realistically only be the actions of men who believed that the next stop was heaven and glory. Furthermore, I don't see how *anyone* could think that Al Qaeda was in cahoots with Iraq. While Saddam did gloat over 9/11, Al Qaeda had it out as much for him as it does for the west. Something that a lot of people in the west seem to be ignorant is that the Islamic world is not harmonious and united one, but a vast range of cultures that are often as much at odds with each other as they are with us. For example, how many people in the west are aware that Iran is as opposed to the Taliban as we are?
