Hey everyone,

I wanted to start a jazz thread because honestly that is one of the few genres that I feel I have trouble researching and finding information on. Everyone knows all of the big names in Jazz, but I am definitely open to anything.

Personally, what I am looking for is a more relaxed subdued jazz sound. Being a classical musician I appreciate the art behind the genre I just don't know a ton about it. Any suggestions for artists, particular songs or labels would be helpful.
